Montessori

Dr Maria Montessori (1870-1952) believed that education begins at birth and that the first six years of life, being the most formative, are the most important both physically and mentally.

It is during this time that a child's power of absorption are highest, attitudes and patterns of learning that will last for life are formed.

With the materials Montessori decised, an environment in which such learning takes place can be created.

What makes Montessori so unique?

The "whole child" approach. The primary goal of our Montessori programs are to help each child reach their full potential in all areas of life.

The holistic curriculum, under the direction of a specially prepared teacher, allows the child to experience the joy of learning, insures the development of self-esteem, and provides the experiences from which children create their knowledge.
